About The Position

Designs, develops, modifies, configures, debugs and evaluates jobs for extracting data from various sources, implements transformation logic, and stores data in various formats fit for use by stakeholders. Collects metadata about jobs including data lineage and transformation logic. Works with teams, clients, data owners and leadership throughout the development cycle practicing continuous improvement. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
Experience with data engineering/ETL ecosystems (e.g., Informatica, SAP BODS, OBIEE), 7 yrs
Experience with multiple data engineering/ETL ecosystems
Experience with machine learning algorithm deployment

Masters Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience

Experience building end-to-end, data-driven applications, including integration between backend data systems and modern front-end frameworks
Strong proficiency in front-end development (e.g., Svelte, React, or similar) with an emphasis on building intuitive, data-centric user interfaces
Experience designing and implementing API layers/services to expose data products for application consumption
Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) for building and managing automated data pipelines
Experience developing and deploying containerized applications (e.g., Docker) in cloud environments
Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including building and iterating on scalable data and application architectures
Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative development, including the ability to quickly translate concepts into functional proof-of-concept applications
Demonstrated ability to design dimensional data models (fact and dimension tables) to support both analytics and application use cases
Experience working across the full stack, including backend data services and frontend application layers
Ability to balance speed and architectural soundness when developing new data products and applications
Experience supporting or developing solutions using utility or operational data systems (e.g., asset, outage, or telemetry data) preferred
Demonstrated ability to bridge data engineering and application development, enabling data to be leveraged effectively in operational or decision-support tools
