Expert Business Analyst

Ciklum•United States,

About The Position

Ciklum is seeking an Expert Business Analyst to join a cross-functional development team. The role supports a program consolidating multiple payment gateways into one target gateway platform. The analyst will apply deep US payments-domain knowledge and hands-on TSYS card-acquiring platform experience, working at the program level with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, development, migration, and QA teams. The role focuses on gateway technical processing rather than card products and end-to-end customer payments, and includes requirements management, platform migration support, testing, and production-release activities. The position requires collaboration throughout the SDLC and experience with payment processor integrations, downstream systems, APIs, data flows, and system integrations. The analyst will help plan and drive SAFe ceremonies and maintain traceability from business requirements through development, testing, and migration completion. The role is full-time and requires at least six hours of daily overlap with North American business hours.

  • Hands-on experience with TSYS card-acquiring platforms.
  • Technical background in SQL, APIs, system integrations, data flows, data analysis, and mapping.
  • Basic understanding of architecture principles.
  • Experience eliciting and documenting requirements and creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data flows at an appropriate technical level.
  • Experience with UAT, integration testing, defect management, and release support.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI throughout SDLC and BA/SA workflows, and ability to adapt to a variety of AI tools.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
