About The Position

VCA Seaside Animal Hospital in Calabash, NC is seeking a Full Time Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their AAHA-accredited GP practice. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills working with a rapidly growing team of doctors and expand your knowledge in a well-reputed veterinary hospital. The state-of-the-art facility includes digital radiology-whole body and dental, cold laser therapy, ultrasonography, and a dedicated surgical suite. The role offers challenges to grow and learn with a supportive team. Experienced assistants are expected to think analytically through patient needs and the disease process to deliver the highest quality care. Requirements

• Experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Surgical experience required
• Prior experience in surgery, anesthesia, and nursing care is required

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, and recovery
• IV fluid administration and CRI calculations
• Hands Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging
