About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is hiring Experienced Tax Preparers for a seasonal opportunity. In this client-facing role, you will use your tax expertise, business background, and knowledge of tax laws to prepare returns and provide exceptional service in a fun, fast-paced environment. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn new skills and advance within the organization. Compensation is $19.50–$21.00 per hour. PTIN certification is required; applicants must be able to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number, and the IRS will conduct its own background investigation.

Requirements

• At least 2 seasons of experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes.
