About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is hiring experienced Tax Preparers for a seasonal opportunity. In this client-facing role, you will use your tax expertise, business background, and knowledge of tax laws to prepare individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns and provide exceptional service in a fun, fast-paced environment. The posting says flexible schedules are available and that both full-time and part-time positions are offered. The role offers opportunities to learn and advance, including tax training, continuing education, and on-the-job mentorship. Applicants must be able to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN); the IRS will conduct its own background investigation.

Requirements

At least 2 seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Basic computer skills.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Nice To Haves
