About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is hiring Experienced Tax Preparers for a seasonal opportunity. In a fast-paced environment, you will use your tax expertise, business background, and knowledge of tax laws to provide exceptional service to clients. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn new skills and advance within the organization. PTIN certification is required; applicants must be able to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number, and the IRS will conduct its own background investigation.

Requirements

• At least 2 seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must be able to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes.
