About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is seeking Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparers with 3+ tax seasons of hands-on experience working in a professional tax office to join our team for the upcoming tax season. Requirements

• 3+ tax seasons of hands-on experience working in a professional tax office
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confidence working directly with clients
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Dependability, attention to detail, and willingness to continue learning
• Must successfully pass a tax knowledge assessment to demonstrate proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Experience in tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate individual federal and state tax returns
• Conduct one-on-one client tax interviews
• Identify applicable credits, deductions, and tax-saving opportunities
