Experienced Tax Preparer
About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is hiring experienced Tax Preparers for a seasonal opportunity. In a fast-paced environment, you will use your tax expertise, business background, and knowledge of tax laws to serve clients and provide exceptional customer service. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling. The role offers opportunities to learn new skills, receive training and mentorship, and advance within the organization. A Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required; applicants must be able to obtain one, and the IRS will conduct its own background investigation.
Requirements
- At least 2 seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
- Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Must be able to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes.
