About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is hiring Experienced Tax Preparers for a seasonal opportunity. Tax Preparers use their tax expertise, business background, and knowledge of tax laws to provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment. The role offers flexible scheduling, with full-time and part-time positions available. Candidates must be able to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN); the IRS will conduct its own background investigation.

Requirements

At least 2 seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Basic computer skills.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Nice To Haves

Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes.

Responsibilities

Complete individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
