About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Experienced Staff Analyst (Level 3) to join our Government Space Operations (GSO) team in Springfield, Virginia. As Staff Analyst, you will act as an analyst, support basic administration duties, as well as documentation support for the Double Eagle program.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Lync
  • 5+ years of experience working in a team-based environment
  • 5+ years of experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment in support of multiple organizations
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all administrative requests, to include, but not limited to accounts, contact cards, organization chart updates, ordering bereavement flowers, transferring Boeing communications across computer systems, etc.
  • Facilitate/lead weekly admin meetings and coordinate monthly reports for the program chief engineer
  • Book Boeing travel for new hires and current personnel
  • Submit expense reports on behalf of travelers
  • Attend monthly Boeing travel policy meetings to ensure the program is compliant with the latest company travel and expense policies
  • Planning events for Boeing personnel: going away luncheons, retirement celebrations, food for business meetings, etc.
  • Provide strategic design, logistics and facilitation of large program social events by developing and maintaining schedules and annual budgets
  • Lead communications and employee engagement efforts for operations teams by setting a budget and coordinating with the appropriate managers
  • Facilitate program board meetings, to include coordinating presenters, chart packages, tracking topics, and preparing meeting minutes
  • Review, coordinate, track, and prepare program documents, to include Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents to be delivered to the customer
  • Assist managers with employee recognition with Boeing's Pride Points
  • Assist managers with interviews
  • Prepare materials for managers attending recruitment / hiring events and conducting interviews
  • Assign and manage program action items related to program process improvements in coordination with the chief engineer
  • Maintain supply of Boeing promotional items (lanyards, notebooks, coffee mugs, etc.) to be given as awards or to new employees
