About The Position

Porsche Princeton is seeking an experienced, certified Porsche technician to join its service team. Porsche experience is required; Audi or Volkswagen experience may be considered. The dealership offers a clean, safe, temperature-controlled and air-conditioned shop equipped with modern technology and equipment, and provides opportunities for continued training and career advancement. Porsche Bronze, Silver, or Gold Certified Technicians may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

At least 3 years of Service Technician experience.
Porsche experience; Audi or Volkswagen experience may be considered.
Certified General Motors Technician.
ASE Certification.
A-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer skills.
Positive, friendly attitude and customer-service orientation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Communicate with Service Advisors about additional service needs so customers can be informed.
Estimate the time required for additional repairs.
Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
