About The Position

Jeff Wyler Colerain Nissan is looking for Experienced flat rate technicians!! We have a brand new state-of-the-art facility in a prime location in Colerain, offering a climate-controlled environment, locker rooms, and rest areas for technicians. This role functions as an experienced technician capable of diagnosing and repairing most vehicle components with minimal supervision, building upon prior experience as a B or C-Class general service technician. The essential duties include performing work outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy according to dealership and factory standards, diagnosing the cause of malfunctions, performing repairs, examining vehicles for additional service needs, communicating promptly with the service advisor regarding any changes or additional work, documenting all work performed, road testing vehicles as needed, and participating in manufacturer-sponsored training and staying updated on technical bulletins.

Requirements

Automotive and engine repair experience preferred.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Previously worked as a B or C-Class general service technician.

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, by the dealership and factory standards.
Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Communicates with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
