About The Position

Job Summary: Service Advisors listen to customer’s description of vehicle issues, asks follow-up questions to better assess the problem, inspects the vehicle on intake, determines the source of the issue, and provides suggestions for the best way to fix the vehicle.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Valid Driving License
  • Acceptable Driving Record

Responsibilities

  • Generates pre-work order information including warranty and customer contract
  • Responds to customer requests regarding recalls and product information
  • Prioritizes and controls comeback service orders
  • Repair order documentation: complaint, cause, and correction
  • Schedules appointments
  • Keeps customers informed about repair progress and status
  • Performs other related duties consistent with the role; this does not preclude management from assigning additional, though unrelated, duties.
