This position may be filled as an Ambulatory RN Level 1 or 2, depending on individual experience, education, and other qualifications. This position serves as the clinic’s Vaccine Coordinator and lead for the Immunization Station, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of vaccines in a high‑volume pediatric clinic. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to immunization schedules, and vaccine safety. The RN collaborates with providers, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure timely immunizations, accurate documentation in the electronic health record and state immunization registry, staff training and competency validation, and effective vaccine inventory management, including ordering, storage, rotation, and waste reduction.
