As a member of this team, you will assist these professionals in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of your assigned patients. Your work can help facilitate a warm, welcoming experience for both patients and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments
• External applicants: two years of recent experience in an acute care setting
• Will consider military RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

• Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
