The emergency department is staffed 24/7 by board-certified physicians and advanced practitioners, and the hospital is certified as a Level IV Trauma Center. Requirements
- Must hold an active license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa.
- Must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in nursing.
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) will be required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing is preferred and strongly encouraged.
- Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization is preferred and strongly encouraged.
- Membership in an appropriate professional nursing organization is recommended.
