About The Position

Experienced Registry ED Nurses. Come join our TEAM of specialty Care Nurses. ED needs you! We have 12 hour shifts. If you have some time on your hands and you are an EXPERIENCED ED-RN. Come check us out.

Requirements

• 1 or more years of ED experience Required.
• Current RN Licensure
• CPR Certification
• Medical Surgical experience or critical care experience
• Associate’s degree or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides, supervises, and documents professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Charts observations and activities related to patient care in electronic health record.
• Provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, infection control and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
• Collects blood specimens by venipuncture or micro techniques for laboratory analysis necessary for patient treatment and diagnosis.
• Operates equipment that is needed to perform department specific duties
