About The Position

This is a residential service position, and we're specifically looking for electricians with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in occupied homes. Michael & Son Services has been serving homeowners since 1976. We're looking for experienced Residential Service Electricians who can walk into a customer's home, diagnose electrical problems, explain the solution, and perform quality repairs and installations.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on residential electrical service experience
Experience running residential service calls
Strong residential troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Comfortable working independently in customers' homes
Able to communicate clearly with homeowners and explain electrical problems in a way they understand
Strong customer service skills and professional appearance
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Journeyman, master, or other electrical license/certification
Experience working in a performance-driven service environment
Experience with digital dispatching or paperless documentation

Responsibilities

Run residential service calls independently
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in occupied homes
Perform repairs, replacements, upgrades, and installations
Clearly explain problems and solutions to homeowners
Recommend appropriate solutions based on the customer's actual needs
Complete work safely, professionally, and to company standards
Use a tablet and digital dispatching system to manage your calls and documentation
