About The Position

Boeing Global Services is seeking an Experienced Quality Engineer to support the Government Training Equipment team. This position can be located in either Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO. The role involves representing the Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. The engineer will provide Quality interpretation of requirements, develop quality metrics, and design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include conducting capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection, participating in reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs, and performing analysis, tests, and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. The role also involves providing material review dispositions for non-conformances, analyzing non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions, and recommending corrective actions. Additionally, the engineer will perform benchmarking and other analyses to ensure specified processes achieve capability levels. The position works under general direction.

Requirements

3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
3+ years of experience with conducting quality investigations, Root Cause analysis, as well as implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environments
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or another highly regulated industry
1+ years of experience developing and deploying metrics
Experience developing and reviewing proposals and contractual requirements
