Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an experienced PIP Claims Representative. The position involves investigating and assembling facts, determining policy coverage, evaluating the amount of loss, and paying benefits that are owed in accordance with the Michigan No Fault Statute. Responsibilities also include reviewing medical bills, authorizing timely and accurate payments, working toward the resolution of claims, and attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary. The role requires servicing the needs of agents, policyholders, and others, as well as handling investigations by phone and mail, and conducting claim investigations on complex claims. Auto-Owners offers a merit-based work-from-home program, and after initial in-person training, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Two or more years of insurance claims handling experience, preferably in PIP claims or related experience
• Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to resolve complex issues
• Organize and interpret data
• Ability to handle multiple assignments with attention to detail
• Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Responsibilities
