Experienced Occupational Therapist FlexStaff is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our client’s team in a day hab setting. Responsibilities: As our Occupational Therapist, you'll craft personalized treatment plans to help individuals maintain, restore, or improve their functional abilities in a day hab setting. From assessing motor skills and sensory processing to guiding adaptive equipment and assistive technology, your expertise will empower those we serve to achieve their best quality of life. You'll collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams, providing essential training and support to staff and caregivers. Plus, you'll oversee and supervise OT staff across multiple settings, ensuring top-notch care and compliance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited OT program and NYS licensure or eligibility
• Strong knowledge of OT evaluation, treatment modalities, and assistive technology
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency (Microsoft Word)
• Ability to demonstrate physical transfer techniques and utilize mobility devices safely
• Willingness to travel within boroughs and oversee team members as needed
