day hab setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited OT program and NYS licensure or eligibility
• Strong knowledge of OT evaluation, treatment modalities, and assistive technology
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency (Microsoft Word)
• Ability to demonstrate physical transfer techniques and utilize mobility devices safely
• Willingness to travel within boroughs and oversee team members as needed

Responsibilities

• Craft personalized treatment plans to help individuals maintain, restore, or improve their functional abilities in a day hab setting
• Assessing motor skills and sensory processing
• Guiding adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams, providing essential training and support to staff and caregivers
• Oversee and supervise OT staff across multiple settings, ensuring top-notch care and compliance.
