About The Position

Step into a rewarding career with Energy Pro Heating & Cooling as a full-time Experienced HVAC Technician in Portsmouth, VA. You will work a steady 8:00 am - 5:00 pm shift, Monday through Friday, with some on-call responsibilities. Overtime is available, and you'll work every other Saturday, giving you both stability and the chance to earn more. As an Experienced HVAC Technician, you will head out across South Hampton Roads in your company vehicle, ready to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems. You will use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment, replace faulty parts, and make quality repairs. As you work, you will document your services, maintain accurate job records, and prioritize clear communication with every customer. You will answer their questions and provide multiple service recommendations to ensure their satisfaction. As a vital part of our team, you will play a key role in keeping our customers comfortable at home and upholding our reputation for quality and care. Your efforts will be appreciated and your growth will be encouraged every step of the way. Requirements

  • Physical hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential HVAC systems
  • EPA certification
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to serve the South Hampton Roads region

Nice To Haves

  • NATE certification
  • 3+ years of field service experience
  • Experience answering customer questions, resolving complaints, and providing technical guidance

Responsibilities

  • Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential HVAC systems
  • Maintaining, repairing, and replacing residential split systems, package units, and ductless systems
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing heating and air conditioning equipment
  • Documenting services
  • Maintaining accurate job records
  • Prioritizing clear communication with every customer
  • Answering customer questions
  • Providing multiple service recommendations
