Requirements

3+ years of hands-on technical experience – field service, HVAC, electrical, controls, mechanical, or similar
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
Professional communication and customer-facing skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

Additional education (technical school or college coursework) preferred
Electrical or electronic coursework from a recognized institution is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform calibration, maintenance, and service of fixed gas detection systems
Work with system components including alarms, relays, control panels, fans, valves, solenoids, and actuators
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using manufacturer manuals and technical documentation
Travel to customer sites to complete service work safely and efficiently
Manage your own schedule and complete jobs independently
Provide professional, high-quality customer interaction on-site and over the phone
Support installations and advanced service work alongside other experienced technicians
Mentor and support junior technicians in the field
