The company is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for a safety-sensitive position, requiring knowledge of jobsite hazards, safety precautions, and awareness of earthmoving operations across a variety of projects. In this role, the operator will load off-road haul trucks, perform grading work with an excavator, and use hammering attachments. This position may involve travel depending on project needs. The operator will work alongside experienced colleagues who prioritize safety, teamwork, and efficiency. Typical work schedules are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work based on project demands.

Requirements

  • Strong background in cut/fill and mass excavation projects
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment at all times
  • Knowledge of jobsite hazards, safety precautions, and awareness of earthmoving operations across a variety of projects
  • Approximately 2–4+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Experience in earthmoving and heavy construction, including cut/fill operations across various projects
  • Ability to operate or assist with off-road haul trucks and grading work
  • Willingness to travel based on company and project needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating excavators, including use of hydraulic hammer attachments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Load off-road haul trucks
  • Perform grading work with an excavator
  • Perform hammering with an excavator
  • Safely get on and off equipment using 3 points of contact
  • Conduct daily routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to supervisors
  • Work safely in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet, etc.)
