This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days a week in the office and two days remotely. The position involves analyzing power projects, distilling technical concepts into actionable conclusions and recommendations for project stakeholders in the United States and overseas. You will work with multi-discipline project teams to advise power project developers on new utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal, and other projects. Responsibilities also include independently evaluating new power and infrastructure projects to support financing, modeling economic, technical, and market scenarios for grid operators, utilities, and research agencies, and developing planning studies and business cases for utilities, power producers, and government agencies. The role also expects leadership in using modern tools like automation and AI to improve workflows, reduce rework, and deliver cost-effective designs, including directing process-improvement work, automating calculations, summarizing technical documents, and generating design documentation, while guiding the use of AI or agentic AI tools and ensuring results are checked.
