This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days a week in the office and two days remotely. The position involves analyzing power projects, distilling technical concepts into actionable conclusions and recommendations for project stakeholders to develop, design, construct, operate, and finance energy projects in the United States and overseas. You will work with multi-discipline project teams to advise developers on new utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal, and other projects, evaluate new power and infrastructure projects for financing, model economic, technical, and market scenarios for grid operators, utilities, and research agencies, and develop planning studies and business cases for various energy sector entities. Furthermore, this role expects individuals to lead others in utilizing modern tools like automation and AI to enhance workflows, reduce rework, and deliver cost-effective designs. This includes directing process-improvement work, automating calculations, summarizing technical documents, generating design documentation, and guiding the appropriate use of AI or agentic AI tools while ensuring result verification.
