About The Position

Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an Energy Sales Consultant for their Rochester, NY location. The purpose of this role is to evaluate customer homes by utilizing provided energy assessment tools, educate homeowners on you findings, and sell products/solutions based on the results of the energy assessment. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTATED AND INTERESTED IN CONSULTATION SALES. THIS POSITION INCLUDES A BASE SALARY WITH COMMISSION. FIRST-YEAR POTENTIAL EARNINGS CAN EXCEED $100K+ IF SALES GOALS ARE ACHIEVED. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Secure and maintain BPI Certification
  • Experience/knowledge of home and/or energy industry preferred
  • Valid driver’s license/clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency principles, building science, or insulation products preferred
  • Proven experience in sales, energy consulting, or a related field
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through referrals and inbound inquiries
  • Conduct in-home energy assessments, including inspecting insulation and air sealing, and other efficiency factors
  • Provide homeowners with clear, customized recommendations and quotes for insulation and other energy-saving improvements
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of energy efficiency and available rebate or incentive programs
  • Close sales through consultative, solution-oriented selling
  • Maintain sales projections, reaching sales goals set by your manager
  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in ServiceTitan software
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure referrals
  • Enter energy assessment information in energy modeling program as necessary
  • Stay up to date on energy efficiency trends, utility rebate programs, and local building codes
  • Engineer, order, and schedule the purchased home improvements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the department
