Ferman Chevrolet Brandon is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians with GM dealership experience for a high-volume diesel work environment. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screen
- Possess all basic tools needed to repair gas and diesel vehicles
Nice To Haves
- GM dealership experience
- ASE or OEM certifications
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, including Cummins, Detroit, CAT, and others
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to assess mechanical issues
- Repair and replace faulty engine components
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with all regulations
