Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Three to six months related experience
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Convert all cash transactions into cheque.
Check the layout to ensure that the betting is not over the table limit or under the minimum.
Shuffle and deal cards.
Pay winning bets and collect losing bets.
Remain aware of the amount that people are betting.
Total hands quickly and accurately always remembering what the dealer has.
Protection of dice, keep dice in sight at all times.
Notify the floorperson/boxperson of any irregularities.
Keep the pace of the game as fast and smooth as possible without running over the base dealers or customers.
Call the dice in a clear and informative manner.
Observe all payoffs and collections on the base where the dice are landing.
Correct any errors the base has made.
Book, setup, and payoff all bets in the proposition box and any one time bets.
Protect the layout.
Observe all customer bets. - insure that bets are within rules and limits allowed.
Book, setup, and pay all dealer handled bets.
