We’re looking for a kindred spirit to join the team at Kindred Resort, a new elevated luxury property located at the base of Keystone Resort in Colorado. Embedded in the resort experience is a passion for the outdoors and creating connection between guests, employees, and community. Our goal is to spark elevated experiences that welcome all kindred spirits. The Advanced Cook plays a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences by preparing high-quality, visually appealing, and consistent food items in accordance with the Executive Chef’s standards. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, timely execution of Cook II responsibilities, and adherence to menu specifications and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). The Advanced Cook works with premium ingredients and contributes to a culture of excellence in the kitchen.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.
  • Ability to follow recipes and adapt to changing menus or dietary needs.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary education or certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory, prep lists, and daily kitchen operations.
  • Support training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
