Job Summary: We’re looking for a kindred spirit to join the team at Kindred Resort, a new elevated luxury property located at the base of Keystone Resort in Colorado. Kindred Resort is a visionary development with a mission to be the most welcoming luxury hospitality experience through extreme kindness and active excellence. Embedded in the resort experience is a passion for the outdoors and creating connection between guests, employees, and community. Our goal is to spark elevated experiences that welcome all kindred spirits. As a Host or Hostess, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a warm and welcoming dining experience. This role offers the chance to learn multiple aspects of food and beverage operations in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Whether managing reservations or supporting the flow of service, you’ll help deliver an Experience of a Lifetime.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous restaurant or guest service experience preferred
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Fluent English communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming first impression
  • Manage reservations and waitlists with courteous and efficient phone and in-person communication
  • Monitor dining room flow and pace to ensure smooth seating and guest satisfaction
  • Support servers and attendants by coordinating table turns and offering assistance as needed
  • Acknowledge departing guests with genuine appreciation and kind remarks
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and follow leadership guidance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe host station and front-of-house area
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
