Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of safe driving procedures and diligent attention to safety

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of material handling equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

Drop off and pickup equipment for customers
Operate semi-truck and trailer consistent with DOT classification CDL-A
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet jacks
Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections
Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
May periodically work on material handling equipment in our shop
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
