About The Position
Korean Women's Association (KWA) in Sequim, WA is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as full- or part-time Caregivers. This role involves making a meaningful impact in the community by providing care to clients with disabilities, including those requiring heavier care. Requirements
- Be 18+ years old
- Have reliable personal transportation
- Hold a valid Washington State driver's license and auto insurance
- Willing to become certified as a home care worker within a set amount of time
- Satisfactorily pass a criminal history and reference check
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or a foreign equivalent
- Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
- A compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assisting with client bed care, wash ups/dressing, positioning, etc.
- Providing assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene and preparing nutritious meals.
- Acting as a compassionate companion to clients.
