About The Position
The Analyst Investment Banking provides specialized financial and statistical analysis for a broad range of marketing and execution activities. The role conducts research and ongoing analysis, prepares supporting documentation, and assists with due diligence on transactions. The analyst works within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer and provides a broad range of support to the team.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance), Mathematics, or Economics.
- Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses.
- 0–3 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and M&A opportunities.
- Assist in valuing private and public companies.
- Perform basic to intermediate financial modeling in Excel.
- Provide input to external client proposals and internal underwriting memos.
- Assist in preparing client presentations.
- Conduct research and ongoing analysis, prepare supporting documentation, and assist with transaction due diligence.
- Promote respect for individual employees and adhere to the Bank's policies and guidelines.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client information.
