About The Position

As an experience designer, you put yourself in the user’s place and help design the best way for them to engage with the system. We’re looking for someone creative to work with a team of architects, developers, IT analysts, testers, DevSecOps engineers, and subject matter specialists to craft the ultimate user experience. In this role, you’ll work closely with your team to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an Agile team, you’ll build skills in designing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing. You’ll be involved with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development. You’ll advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

Requirements

Experience with visual or web design and front-end coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or jQuery
Experience with design, wireframing, and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Axure, Balsamiq, Figma, or Sketch
Experience working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital experiences that meet business objectives
Knowledge of user experience and usability principles
Ability to speak towards design decisions and incorporate feedback into designs
Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

Experience designing systems for the military
Knowledge of 508 compliance in digital design
Ability to submit a portfolio
