About The Position

We are currently seeking a sharp, organized, and detailed Expeditor to help bridge the gap between our kitchen and front-of-house teams and play a crucial role in ensuring food quality, accuracy, timing and a smooth flow of the restaurant in a fine-dining environment.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience working as a server assistant
Strong product and preparation method knowledge
Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
The ability to take direction and prioritize
Strong oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

A diploma or degree in tourism and hospitality or similar is considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

Ensuring each dish is delivered to guests with impeccable timing and accuracy, meeting the highest standard of presentation and quality
Acting as a crucial liaison between front- and back-of-house teams, clearly communicating special requests, dietary aversions, and allergy modifications with precision
Conducting final quality control checks on every plate – assessing presentation, temperature, and order completeness before the dishes leave the kitchen
Anticipating and resolving issues swiftly and professionally during peak service to maintain seamless flow and guest satisfaction
Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and cook times – ensuring a flawless course pacing and timely “fires” or “pick-ups”
Maintaining acute awareness of table and seat numbers to guarantee dishes are delivered to the correct guest without delay or confusion
Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
