About The Position
Responsible for tracking, maintaining, and expediting all orders to ensure on-time deliveries. This role also involves maintaining safety and good housekeeping practices around the work area, ensuring machine cleanliness, and managing material filling.
Requirements
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills required to build relationships across the business
- Must have some computer skills and ability to use a scanner
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
- Ability to read work instructions
- Standing, walking, bending for an 8-hour shift
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects
- Move products from upholstery locations to finished products
Responsibilities
- Expedite Priority orders daily
- Process all offsite Distribution Orders daily
- Review Open Orders daily, expedite as required
- Track, maintain and expedite all orders to maintain on time deliveries
- Review and update customers on promise dates
- Reject product not meeting quality standards
- Maintain on delivery time
- Responsible for safety and good housekeeping practices around work area, cleanliness of machine, filling material
- Any other duties assigned by a member of the Management Team
