About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for an Expeditor at Quattro Restaurant. This role is essential in assisting with the timing and organization of food orders at the kitchen line, ensuring accuracy and effective communication within the team. The Expeditor also supports food running/serving and table maintenance, contributing to the overall high standards of service at the hotel.

Requirements

  • General food knowledge
  • Good personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to carry and balance a tray
  • Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America

Responsibilities

  • Assist in timing and organizing food orders at the kitchen line
  • Assist in food running/serving
  • Ensure accuracy of orders with strong attention to details, allergies, and special requests
  • Effectively communicate with Servers
  • Assist the Server in clearing and resetting the tables according to the restaurant standards
  • Perform side work such as polishing silverware, refilling the condiment containers and crumbing the tables as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
