Position Summary The Junior Expo is responsible for ensuring every customer order is accurately assembled, packaged, verified, and dispatched according to Abby’s Catering quality standards and customer specifications. Working in a fast-paced aviation catering environment, this position serves as a critical link between production, logistics, and delivery teams to ensure flights depart with complete and accurately prepared catering orders. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, urgency, and the ability to perform under strict time deadlines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in food service, catering, warehouse, hospitality, or logistics preferred.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate required (or ability to obtain before employment).
Basic computer or tablet skills preferred.
Airline catering experience is a plus but not required.
Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the team.
Ability to prioritize multiple orders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assemble and package customer orders according to production tickets and client specifications.
Verify every order for completeness, presentation, labeling, and accuracy before release.
Inspect packaging to ensure products are protected and presentation standards are met.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure all items are available and prepared on schedule.
Monitor flight departure timelines and prioritize orders accordingly.
Communicate shortages, substitutions, discrepancies, or quality concerns immediately to leadership.
Assist with loading and staging orders for delivery.
Safely operate company vehicles when assigned to transport customer orders.
Maintain inventory of packaging materials and notify leadership of low stock levels.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
Follow all HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and company food safety procedures.
Support other departments during high-volume production periods.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
