About The Position
K&A Power Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Expeditor, Materials Specialist to join their team in Augusta, Maine. This role involves supporting Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Commissioning Managers in sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking and expediting, and managing the materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery. The position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in the energy and utility sectors within a dynamic, people-focused team.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Equivalent Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in Materials Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
- Must be a Maine resident
Nice To Haves
- Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
- SAP Experience Preferred
- Experience in Utility Industry Preferred
Responsibilities
- Supports Project Manager, Construction Manager and Commission Manager sourcing materials
- Issuing purchase orders
- Tracking, expediting, managing materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery to storage areas and project site
- Verification of Bill of Materials
- Supplier Identification
- Commodity Lead Time Analysis
