About The Position

The Food Expeditor ensures timely, accurate, and high-quality food presentation while supporting smooth communication between the kitchen and dining room. This role is responsible for organizing and dressing plates, coordinating with cooks and servers, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace to ensure exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of previous food expeditor experience.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Ability to interact positively with guests, coworkers, and the public.
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support other staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Review all tickets and position food orders in the window for servers.
  • Dress and garnish all plates before they are picked up.
  • Ensure servers pick up food promptly to maintain quality.
  • Communicate re-fires, side orders, and special requests directly with cooks.
  • Complete assigned side work and any additional tasks directed by management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment for guests and coworkers.
