We are seeking an experienced Expansion Account Executive, Mid-Market to join our dynamic sales team. This role is crucial for driving sales growth by engaging and managing relationships with mid-market customers, focusing on navigating larger deals and expanding client accounts. Given MaintainX's triple-digit, year-over-year growth, this position is key to ensuring world-class client care and management. Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience, with a significant portion in account management or a similar role within the mid-market segment.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding client accounts and driving revenue growth in a B2B sales environment.
  • Proficiency in navigating larger deals, understanding complex sales cycles, and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate data-driven insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to conduct engaging product demonstrations and lead impactful quarterly business reviews.
  • Adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced, rapidly changing sales environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and deal management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • A positive, passionate, and creative mindset, combined with high-character qualities that align with company values.
  • An open and hungry mind, always willing to improve through coaching and learn about customers’ industries.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Own a book of business from post-sale handoff through renewal and expansion, using B2B sales or account management experience to build relationships with mid-market customers.
  • Leverage experience in navigating larger deals to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and provide innovative solutions, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and present product demonstrations showcasing offerings and their value.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including client requests, demos, proposals, and follow-ups, maintaining organization to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Become proficient in using sales systems such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others.
  • Accurately manage the sales pipeline and forecast monthly and quarterly expansion opportunities with +/- 15% accuracy.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, deals, and progress.
  • Embrace an entrepreneurial, grind-it-out mentality of building something new.
