About The Position

Clear Lakes Dental is building brand new practices in Eastlake, OH and is looking for Expanded Functions Dental Assistants (EFDAs) to join their team. Clear Lakes Dental aims to create a drama-free, stress-free environment where patients and team members feel at home. They care for patients of all ages, accept most insurances, and prioritize team well-being. This role is for an EFDA who thrives in a supportive, high-energy practice.

Requirements

• OH Dental Assistant License
• Graduation from an accredited DA program
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and software
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and great under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, Oromo, or Hmong

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentists, Dental Therapists, and Hygienists during procedures
• Sterilize and set up operatories between patients
• Take and process dental x-rays
• Document treatment plans and patient notes accurately
• Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive treatments
• Support with impressions, temp crowns, and lab prep
• Educate patients on postop care
• Keep the workspace safe, clean, and HIPAA-compliant
• Be an all-around awesome teammate
