Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
Indiana Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification (Required).
Indiana Dental Radiography License (Required).
CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, punctual, and a strong team player.
Proficiency in dental terminology, restorative procedures, and clinical workflows.

Nice To Haves

EFDA experience preferred, but happy to train the right candidate.
Open Dental experience preferred, but willing to train.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Perform expanded functions including placing/finishing restorations, coronal polishing, and sealant placement.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and organize clinical equipment for patient visits.
Provide attentive chairside assistance and proactive support to the clinical team.
Expose and process high-quality digital dental radiographs.
Maintain accurate patient records, clinical charts, and treatment documentation.
Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
