Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Seva Dental TeamToledo, OH

About The Position

Toledo Dental Team is looking for a full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. At Toledo Dental Team, the EFDA is more than an assistant. You are a trusted clinical partner, a patient comfort champion, and one of the steady hands that helps the day run smoothly. You help create the experience patients remember: organized care, clear communication, kind support, and a team that works together with purpose. This role is a great fit for someone who is clinically skilled, positive, dependable, and ready to be part of a team that takes patient care seriously without taking itself too seriously. A great dental visit does not happen by accident. It takes preparation, teamwork, attention to detail, and a clinical team that knows how to keep the day moving while still making each patient feel cared for. As an EFDA, you will support the doctor chairside, place restorations within your scope, help maintain excellent clinical flow, and make sure patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. You are part technician, part teammate, part patient translator, and part calm-in-the-chair wizard.
