About The Position

GPHA is a non-profit healthcare organization founded in 1970, dedicated to providing compassionate and affordable healthcare services. We are one of the largest Dental providers in the Philadelphia and Tri-state area and are currently seeking full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistants (EFDAs). We are looking for energetic, outgoing individuals who want to make an impact and grow with our organization. We have multiple locations across Philadelphia.

Requirements

• Proficiency in chairside dentistry, quality diagnostic digital x-rays, impressions and model pouring, and infection control knowledge.
• Ability to adapt and understand the needs of the Dentist.
• Ability to place fillings to restore teeth and place sealants.
• Ability to provide supragingival prophylaxis and fluoride treatments.
• Ambitious, positive, talented, and friendly with the ability to multi-task.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accepted dental assisting school.
• CPR Certification required.
• Ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and languages effectively to obtain necessary information.

Nice To Haves

• One year of dental assisting experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
