About The Position
The Dental Specialty Center is the interdisciplinary hub of Verber Dental Group's advanced dental health system in Enola, Pennsylvania. Our state-of-the-art specialty center brings together multiple dental specialties under one roof, allowing patients to receive comprehensive, collaborative care from a team of experts in a practice that is 100% dentist-owned. The Dental Specialty Center is home to: Alfano Oral Surgery Pennsylvania Center for Periodontology Cumberland Valley Endodontics Valley Advanced Orthodontics Verber Advanced Dental Studio VerTrue Dental Lab Verber Advanced Dental Institute. We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team. This role will primarily support our restorative and prosthetic team, assisting with complex functional and esthetic dental reconstruction, including implant-supported restorations and comprehensive treatment cases. Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience with a strong EFDA skill set
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—we provide in-house training)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with dentists and specialists
- Passion for dentistry and a commitment to continuing education
- Interest in learning implant restorative workflows and advanced prosthetic procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for esthetics
- Creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-first mindset
- Enthusiasm for working alongside dental laboratory technicians and utilizing advanced dental technologies
- Commitment to providing an exceptional, concierge-level patient experience
Responsibilities
- Support our restorative and prosthetic team, assisting with complex functional and esthetic dental reconstruction, including implant-supported restorations and comprehensive treatment cases.
- Collaborate with specialists.
- Assist with advanced restorative, implant, cosmetic, and interdisciplinary cases.
- Work alongside dental laboratory technicians and utilize advanced dental technologies.
- Provide an exceptional, concierge-level patient experience.
