About The Position
Smart Arches Dental Implant Centers is seeking an experienced Pennsylvania Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join their doctor-led team. This role focuses on advanced restorative implant dentistry and full-mouth dental implant treatment. The ideal candidate will enjoy restorative dentistry, digital workflows, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania EFDA Certification (Required)
- Pennsylvania X-Ray Certification
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Restorative dentistry experience required
- Experience with digital workflows
- Strong communication skills and commitment to exceptional patient care
Nice To Haves
- Implant dentistry experience preferred
- iCAM experience is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Perform Expanded Function Dental Assistant duties in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
- Assist with restorative implant procedures and full-arch (AOX) cases
- Place, contour, and finish restorations
- Take digital impressions, radiographs, and intraoral scans
- Support digital workflows and restorative treatment planning
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization protocols
- Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care
- Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance
