About The Position
The Expanded Duty Dental Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Dentist. Interviews patients and records information on patient charts. Coordinates patient flow and assists in procedures. May assist with phone calls and scheduling. Works under close supervision of the clinic manager.
Requirements
- Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification or equivalent.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Ability to record patient information accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
